Privacy Policy
Last updated: [02/07/26]
Gateway2College LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”) respects the privacy of every family we work with. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the parent or guardian's name, the student's name and graduation year, an email address, and, if provided, a phone number, along with whatever the family chooses to share about the student's situation. If you become a client, we additionally collect the student's transcripts, test scores, essay drafts, college list, and other materials necessary to provide our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call, and, if you become a client, to deliver the college counseling services described in your service agreement. We do not sell your information to any third party.
Text Messages
If you opt in on our contact form, we may text you regarding your inquiry and, if you become a client, regarding scheduling and reminders. We do not send essay content, grades, or other sensitive student information by text message. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us directly.
How We Store and Protect Your Information
Student and family information is stored in access-controlled company systems, not in personal accounts. Access is limited to the personnel and contractors actually working with your student, each of whom has signed a confidentiality agreement with us. We do not upload student materials to AI tools, chatbots, or other third-party software we have not specifically approved and confirmed meets our privacy standards.
How Long We Keep Your Information
If you submit an inquiry but do not become a client, we retain your contact information for a reasonable period to follow up, after which it is deleted. If you become a client, we retain the student's file for a defined period after the application cycle ends, after which it is archived or deleted unless you request earlier deletion or we are required by law to retain it longer.
Your Rights
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about your family, request a correction, or request deletion, subject to any record-keeping we are legally required to maintain. Contact us using the information on our Contact page to make any of these requests.
When a Student Turns 18
If your student turns 18 while working with us, we will confirm directly with your family whether the now-adult student or the parent controls ongoing consent and access to the student's file going forward.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
